The philosophical beliefs of the people in power, the current state of foreign affairs, our wars, wars we aren't involved in, the economy in the US, the economy in other countries, intelligence gathered by the CIA, NSA, FBI, etc., the leaders of other countries and their attitude toward us, their attitude toward our allies, treaties, trade relations and about 1000 other things.
