Furious with my ex husband?

Unfortunately you were married to a major d*uchb*g, but fortunately you are somewhat rid of him. Perhaps a brief letter(or email) to him highlighting what you've told us. Like you wish to get along for the sake of the kids & don't mind switching with him if you are able, but you do not HAVE to if he is being rude to you. You also won't tolerate any disrespect or bossiness. Do not bother to waste your time listening or reading a single word of his lame excuses about why he is late with the child support. Immediately file for arrears. Let the child support people handle this. Do not tolerate any verbal abuse he may throw your way. Cut him off & tell him business is business, you are NOT interested in his excuses & his irrelevant personal details. The second he is a jerk cut him off & tell him he may call back when he is able to be civilized. If he persists, slam the phone on him. Time to get tough & strong. But try hard to stay cool & maintain your dignity. And yes, be careful what you say & do in front of your children.
