Do the ICSE/CBSE schools accept transfer for 10th cl in January for someone in USA studying 10th grade?

I would like to whether ICSE or CBSE schools accept transfer into 10th cl in January for a student studying 10th cl in USA. If so, what is the procedure. Also, I would like to whether language exemption is given as my child is studying spanish right now
